Chef Eric Tanaka, born and bred in LA, says he is inspired by the healthy yet soulful, breezy yet global spirit of Sqirl, so he’s going to cook a lunch menu made up of his favorite dishes from this hip LA restaurant.

- Famed Ricotta Toast- a great, big, thick slice of buttery brioche,browned and burnished and topped with ricotta, jam, and a pinch of fleur de sel is one of the most celebrated dishes at Sqirl! ET will show you how to make it, and we’ll cut up each slice into squares so you get a delicious taste but not so much that you have to take a nap afterwards!
- Squid Toast- toast is a big deal at Sqirl, so you get toast twice! This long crosswise cut from a baguette is the sexiest toast ever. It’s topped with roasted tomatoes, garlic-infused oil, and marinated seared squid.
- Crispy Rice Salad with fried brown rice, lemongrass, mint, cucumber, and ginger with a fried egg on top- this rice salad is sooooo ET!
- Avocado Cardamom Smoothie- creamy with avocado, sweet with condensed milk, and fragrant with cardamom- this smoothie is sooooo LA!
