Americans are in love with dumplings....all forms.  We associate dumplings with the Chinese and in part, this is correct! Chinese history has records of dumplings going back 1800 years, but every corner of the world has some version of a dumpling; they can be formed with meat, vegetables, starchy roots, bread or grain. The Brazilians have Coxinha, the Austrians knoedel, and Ghana has Fufu. The possibilities are endless and that's why Hot Stove Society is curious! Join chef Annie Elmore and the team at Hot Stove Society as they explore the world of dumplings. Take a journey with us to the far corners of the world and explore dumplings with us in this delicious series.

Annie will visit the highlands of Central Asia and make Manti, then it's off to southern Russia to make Khinkali and then we jump continents to Brazil and show you how to make Coxinha. What a delicious way to spend a couple hours! Guest will receive tastes of all the dumplings and you will roll up your sleeves and make and take one of the dumplings.

Guests will receive substantial tastes of the following options.

What You Will Learn, Make and Taste:

• Manti - A traditional meat filled dumpling served with a garlicky yogurt saucem - Demo and Taste
• Coxinha - A deep fried dumpling made with a combination of chicken and cheeses - Demo and Taste
• Khinkali - A sacred Georgian dumpling in the shape of the sun and filled with a variety of fillings - Hands On 

Policies: 

Ticket price is per 1 person.  If you register separately from the person (or people) with whom you are attending, please let us know in advance so we can make sure we seat you with your party. 

Refund policy: Once a class is purchased it is non-refundable.  The ownership, however, is yours and you may send someone else in your stead.
